We are very luck to have our own Egyptian Mau Stud Boy "Gazer"

Gazer came to us all the way from Longmont in Colorado USA.

He was bred by Constance Carroll of the Consuelo Cattery.

I first saw photographs of Gazer in August 2010 and I knew he was for us. It did take some time to persuade Steve to go through the import process, but he eventually gave in and now adores Gazer.

I arranged to visit Constance and Gazer in Longmont in February 2011 and I was so pleased to see how our boy was growing up. What was lovely was that he seemed to take to me straight away.

Constance was wonderful to us and got Gazer ready for his flight by doing all the necessary requirements, vaccination and paperwork to allow Gazer to travel to the UK on the PETS passport scheme.

We had to make a change to the plans when we found out that there is a heat embago on animal transport from Denver from 1st June to 15th September. We therefore chose to have Gazer go into quarantine for one month, flying to the UK on 27 May 2011.

He went into Ryslip Kennels for the month were Steve and I were able to visit him every week! He really settled well and when he came home on 26th June he was very pleased with his new accommodation.

Gazer is currently at closed stud for the time being. This will be reviewed after we have had a couple of litters from him.

Gazer has gone on to much show success since debuting in August 2011.
